NIH Guidelines Training

This training is only required once every three years

    New Users

    • Step 1: Go to www.citiprogram.org
    • Step 2: Select "New Users"
    • Step 3: Participating Institutions: Texas A&M University
    • Step 4: Create a username and password
    • Step 5: Enter your name
    • Step 6: Enter email address
      • When you set up or update your CITI account information, the email used needs to match the email address in My Assistant information in iRIS. CITI allows two email addresses to be given in case a researcher wants an additional email used.
    • Step 7: Complete contact information fields:
      • Scroll to the bottom of the page for “NIH Guidelines”
      • Select "no" unless you are working with an additional university

     

    Returning Users

    • Step 1: Go to www.citiprogram.org
    • Step 2: Log in with username and password
    • Step 3: Under "My Courses," select "Add a course or update your learner groups for Texas A&M University"
    • Step 4: Under Question 5, select "The NIH Guidelines for PIs Using Recombinant DNA in Research"
