Conduct Research

Principal investigators must notify the IBC when information changes in the approved IBC permit, such as personnel joining or leaving the lab, laboratory locations, new procedures, new agents, and new recombinant activities. If such changes occur, the principal investigator will be required to submit an amendment form.

IBC permits are currently approved for the duration of three years. Annual renewals and laboratory inspections are required.

Annual renewal forms must be submitted 60 days before the anniversary of the IBC permit approval.
